UEFA Cup Final 2007 Official Dinner

The Official Dinner is one of the key events in the run-up to the UEFA Cup Final, when the representatives of the home association, the hosting venue, and of the city authorities formally welcome the football family.

It is also a unique opportunity for the host to present its city and to publicly welcome and celebrate the two finalists. Our aim was to provide a welcoming atmosphere with sound, light and projection that would compliment the grandeur of Kelvingrove.

To this end we designed the set so that the audience could appreciate the building yet feel enveloped by the proceedings. We then installed an industry-leading sound and visual system, taking advantage of the venue’s lively acoustics, and we topped it all with spectacular lighting which highlighted many of the building’s ornate features.
