Edinburgh International Festival Launch

Camerons was commissioned by the Edinburgh International Festival to promote the 2007 Festival.

Our brief was to compile a three minute preview showing the forthcoming events and venues. We worked with a variety of file formats and footage supplied by our client to compile a film which was the focus at the Festival launch event, featuring a press conference in the morning and a VIP screening in the evening.

The launch venue was the Hub in Edinburgh’s Royal Mile – a converted grand church hall in the shadow of the castle, where our lighting programme highlighted the main stage and lectern areas, while a high brightness projector propelled 13’ images onto a starcloth backdrop. No fireworks this time though!
