Scottish Enterprise’s Annual Tourism Customer Service Conference
Cameron’s, in conjunction with Starkevents, was at the Old Fruit Market in Glasgow, Tuesday March 11 2008.
The conference, now in it’s 7th year, saw more than 200 Scottish tourism businesses come together with some of the world's leading tourism service industry players including David Fairhurst, senior vice-president of McDonald's Restaurants and Diana Simpson from New York's Museum of Modern Art in an attempt to boost the overall economic performance of the tourism sector by improving service standards and ensuring a prosperous future for the industry.
This event gave Cameron's the chance to show off some new equipment, most notably our 15000 lumen LX1500 (the world’s brightest projector in it’s class) and 6500 lumen LX650 Christie projectors, which projected the evenings events on to our new 4.8m 16 x 9 screens. We also supplied 50” plasma screens spread throughout the hall offering a clear and concise coverage of the event.
