The awards are one of the most prestigious nights in the Scottish Events Calendar and took place at the Glasgow Hilton on Friday the 11^th of September.

The Scottish Event Awards were attended by the elite of the Scottish events industry, they are designed to promote and celebrate the success of the events industry in Scotland.

Cameron Presentations sponsored the Best Large Venue and the Green awards. Congratulations to SECC and Maximillion on their victories.

On top of our award sponsorship we had the task of AV and technical production for the night bestowed on us, a task not many in our industry would take on. We knew we had to produce a faultless show, as in attendance on the night were many big names from the events and AV industry.

Using the awards logo as the initial design we created a striking focal point as a backdrop to the awards. And with the talents of our in house multimedia department produced an awards presentation of a exceptionally high standard. It’s not often in this industry you get congratulations from your peers, but on this occasion we did receive high praise indeed. The nights entertainment was provided by comedian Kevin Bridges, and a special performance by Rhythm of the Celts. Finally after the succes of the Show, we danced into the early hours of Saturday morning to music provided by the band Sneakers.

Once again in having the combined talents of the Cameron’s team the night went to plan and whole evening was a success.

We look forward to the continued growth of this event, an event that’s becoming such an important night to our industry.
